By utilizing Carbo-Link's vast knowledge and experience in supplying high-performance tension members to the America's Cup for over 15 years. Carbo-Link has developed a vast amount of knowledge and quantifiable data enabling boundaries to be re-defined. 2017 - 35TH AC, BERMUDA

Exclusive supplier for the wing and platform rigging for the ACC boat to be used in the 2017 America's Cup, Bermuda.

Sail plans AC72

2013 - 34TH AC, SAN FRANCISCO

Team Oracle USA, Emirate's Team New Zealand, Luma Rossa and Artemis all chose Carbo-Link for their wing and platform rigging. Wing rigging and some of the platform cables were elliptical, solid carbon to significantly reduce windage. Wing control cables were round, solid carbon to minimize stretch and maintain wing shape and twist.

All AC45's use Carbo-Link solid carbon platform rigging. Collaborating with all the teams on experimental rigging solutions and innovative ideas drives technological boundaries in the America's Cup.

 
Alinghi 5

2010 - 33RD AC, VALENCIA DEED OF GIFT CHALLENGE

The most technologically advanced rigging ever built was designed and manufactured by Carbo-Link for Alinghi 5, and used exclusively onboard the Alinghi catamaran.   

Low windage elliptical solid carbon rods were used for shrouds, diamonds and backstays. Round solid carbon was used for the forestay and all structural platform rigging.

2007 - 32ND AC, VALENCIA

Alinghi - Significantly smaller diameter solid carbon topmast, runners, forestay and V-strap cables all contributed to Alinghi's speed advantage over TNZ.
